Correct Answer: C

TESTING OPTIONS FOR INTEGER PAIRS (x, y):

- Option A: y = 2x
x = 0 => y = 0
x = 1 => y = 2
Infinite integer pairs.

- Option B: y = x / 2
x = 0 => y = 0
x = 2 => y = 1
Infinite integer pairs.

- Option C: y = \(\sqrt{5} * x\)
x = 0 => y = 0 -> Pair (0,0) [VALID]
For any x != 0, y is irrational (not an integer).
EXACTLY 1 integer pair solution: (0,0).

- Option D: y = x + 1
x = 0 => y = 1
x = 1 => y = 2
Infinite integer pairs.

- Option E: y = 1 / x
x = 1 => y = 1 -> Pair (1,1)
x = -1 => y = -1 -> Pair (-1,-1)
EXACTLY 2 integer pair solutions.

Conclusion: Answer Choice C.
