Rashid receives a commission of $15 for every phone he sells in a given month, plus $9 for every phone he sells above the sales target set for the month. Last month, he sold 85 phones above his sales target, and his average commission per phone sold was $16.80. Two months ago, he sold 16 phones above his sales target, and his average commission per phone sold was $15.30. How many fewer phones did Rashid sell last month than two months ago?

Let’s suppose that his target last month was x phones and the month before was y . His commision last month was 15x +24(85) and the month before was 15y+ 24(16). Our task is to find y- x -69
15x +24*85= 16.8(x+85)
15y +24*16=15.3(y+16)
1.8x =(7.2)(85) so x=4*85=340
0.3y =(8.7)(16) so y=29*16=464
y - x =124
y-x -69= 124-69=55
