Got it.

Answer is B.
when n=2,
(-1/5)^-2 = 25

Of the following values of n, the value of (-1/5 )^(-n) will be greatest for n =

A. 3
B. 2
C. 0
D. -2
E. -3

\((-\frac{1}{5} )^{-n}=(-5)^n\).

To maximize (-5)^n, we must choose greatest even n from the options (to make the expression positive).

Answer: B.

Shouldn't the answer be option D. ?

(-1/5)^-2 = 25
(-1/5)^2 = 1/25

\((\frac{-1}{5})^{-(2)} = 25\) ......... Here you have taken option B = (2)

Answer = B
