Hi,

I think the OA is wrong here. If x=y=0, then the ratio is undefined (or at least not 1:3). Am I missing something?

(1) y = 3x

(2) x = 11

I think the OA is wrong here. If x=y=0, then the ratio is undefined (or at least not 1:3). Am I missing something?

You are absolutely right, it should be mentioned in the stem that x is a non-zero number in order the answer to be A.

even mentioned or not just look for traps,
o, 1, -1 and region btw -1 and 1
for all data sufficiency questions

u r correct, if x=y= 0 then ur correct if not its c

Concept is Ratio
y : x or y/x =?
1, y/x = 3/1

So A

But what is all about this x=y=0 and data missing??
I am missing any concept??
