C is the right answer.
given x & y integer but not equal to Zero

it means x & y can be -ve or positive integer but no zero.

1- given that x4 =y4 it means x=y . but we don`t know whether these are negative or positive & whats the numeric value? hence no suff.

2-says that x=5 it means x +ve integer & but no info about y hence not suff.

putting together we know that x=y as per first & x=5 given in second . now we can say c is sufficinet,

If X and Y are both integers different from zero, what is the value of (X + 2Y)?

(1) X^4 = Y^4.
(2) X = 5.
combining both the statements is not sufficient to answer as X can be negative or positive. same is with Y
So E.

bro,

if x^4=y^4 => either x=y or x=-y.

Hence, answer should be E as we don't know if x=y=5 or x=5 and y=-5.
