(1) p^2 = 6p
p^2 - 6p = 0
p(p - 6) = 0
p = 0 or p = 6.
Not sufficient.
(2) p = even. Not sufficient.
(1)+(2) Both possible value of p from (1) are even, hence p still could be 0 as well as 6. Not sufficient.
Answer: E.
