so \(a+b=8\).......
now a>3b....least value of b is 1
so a>3b or a>3......so \((>3)+1=8........(>3)=7\)....YES
but if b is 2,
a>3*2 or a>6, so \((>6)+2=8..........(>6)=6\).....NO
so ONLY possibility of b is 1
sufficient
(2) a = 7
can be any value of b and c
insuff
