Hi,

In this question, can't the 2nd condition be true where:
Given: 27= 2(Units of Beaker) + 7(Units of Flask) + 4(Units of Burner)

Now, Units of Flask can be either 1 OR 2. If Units of Flask = 2 is not possible (Total of rest would be 11 13 and Units of beaker and Units of burner need to be integers)

But, what about the scenario where, Units of Flask is 1. Then the values of Units of Beaker = 4 & Units of Burner = 3 satifyies the condition and gives us the answer as 1.

That's why, IMO, B is the answer.

What am I missing here?

Hi there,
You forgot the possibility where the # of Flasks is 3:
3 Flasks = 21
1 Beaker = 2
1 Burner = 4
Adds up to a total of 27.

This means there are two different possibilities, and so INSUFFICIENT
(Also I think you made a minor mistake with the 11, which should be 13)
