We'll see which of the statements gives us the information we need - the lengths of the sides of the rectangles.
(1) This is obviously insufficient - how long is KJ?
(2) We have the sides of the 'top rectangle' (JL and MN) and the sides of the 'bottom rectangle' (LM and MP), so this is sufficient.
(B) is our answer.
