Is x > x^2?
\(x > x^2........x-x^2>0....x(1-x)>0\)
So, Two cases
1) Both positive...if x>0, then x<1 and
2) Both negative ..if x<0, then x>1, which is not possible.
So the question becomes - Is 0<x<1?
(1) x^2 is less than 1 but greater than 0.
\(0<x^2<1......|x|<1....-1<x<1\) except x=0... x can be \(\frac{-1}{2}\), then NO, or x can be 1/2 yes

(2) x^3 is less than x^2
\(x^3<x^2.......x^3-x^2<0...x^2(x-1)<0\)... so x<1.. again can be 1/2 or 2

I think the right answer is A because it limits the possibilities between 0 and 1.
