We are trying to find a numerical value here. Also keep in mind we don’t need to actually calculate the value. We just need to make sure that we can.
Statement 1:
This means \(z = 243^5\). The cube root of z is \(243^\frac{5}{3}\), which is a known value so this is sufficient.
Statement 2:
Similar as above, the cube root of z is \(3^\frac{25}{3}\). As you may notice this is an irrational number but it is a fixed value regardless, therefore sufficient.
Answer: D
