so #1
x+130=180
x=50 sufficient

z=50 ;x & y not clear insufficient

Sum of three angles of triangle (x,y, and z in this case) is 180.

Statement 1: y+z =150. x+150=180. x=30. Sufficient.

Statement 2: 2z=100. z=50. x+y+50=180. x+y=130. Insufficient.

Asked: What is the value of x in the triangle above?
x+y+z = 180
x= 180 - (y+z)

(1) y + z = 130
x= 180 - (y+z) = 180 - 130 = 50
SUFFICIENT

(2) z + z = 100
Since value of y is unknown
NOT SUFFICIENT
