Can you explain why it is not C.
I got C, because of the formula, total= Spanish+ French- Both, so by combining we get the result of Both.

Can you explain why it is not C.

The formula is:

Total = Spanish + French - Both + Neither.

Here we only know Spanish and French. Both and Neither are unknown. Since Neither is missing, you cannot solve for Both.
