What is the standard deviation of the weights of the 30 samples in a certain experiment?

(1) The total weight of the 30 samples is 360 grams.
(2) Each of the 30 samples weighs 12 grams.

Explanation:
Given total wt of 30 samples=360 gm
Avg wt per sample = 360/30
=12gm

But to calculate S.D we need weight of each sample(not provided in S1)

Hence S1 insufficient

S2: each sample wt=12 gm
Avg wt=30gm (as each sample weight same)
So S.D = sum of sq of(diff of each wt-avg wt) /n
=0
Hence S2 is sufficient

Hence B is the correct answer
