7 is middle term so n can be <=7 insufficient

least is 4 and max is 18 ; so n can be >=4 insufficient

from this we know that n is less than 7.
Insufficient.
Statement 2-
Diff between the max and min number is 14.
in the given list of numbers min is 4 (apart from n) and max is 18.
n can be any value greater than 4.
Insufficient.
Combining the statements,
from stmt 1 we have n<7
from stmt 2 we have 4<n<7
both, insufficient
IMO E.
