We could also solve in the similar way as in statement I.
I tried doing it....but got stuck:

x = my + 7

5.35y = my + 7
y(5.35 - m) = 7

What do I do now?

Do I say that m has to be 5, for y to be an integer?

As y leaves a remainder of 7, y>7.
And if y(5.35-q)=7, then 5.35-q has to be less than 1 for y to be greater than 7. Since q is a positive integer, only way is when q is 5, so y*(5.35-5)=7.

x/y=5.35 = 535/100 = 107/20

Stat1: When y is divided by x, the remainder is 20, then we can have x = 107 and y= 20 only possible . Sufficient.

Stat2: When x is divided by y, the remainder is 7, then we can have x = 107 and y= 20 only possible . Sufficient.

So, I think D. :)
