Given : Number of students = 30
(1) Of the students in the class, 10% of the students received a perfect score on their last test.
Student who got perfect score = 10% * 30 = 3 students -- we can't say how many females received perfect score , Not sufficient.
(2) Of the students in the class, 12 are female. -- Not sufficient , we still don't know females received perfect score.
Combining (1) & (2) => we still don't know out of 3 students with perfect score , how many are females.
