Option A

Question - Percy (P) + Quincy (Q) + Randy(R) = 15 slices

(1) 2P = Q and P = R + 1
Hence P + 2P + P - 1 = 15
P = 4, Q = 8, R = 3

(2) P+R = Q - 1
No information about distribution between P and R hence insufficient

I think the answer must be D.

s2 : P+R = Q -1

and we are given that P+R+Q = 15
THus, Q-1 + Q = 15
and 2Q = 16.

Q= 8 and the answer is the same as that of statemnet 1.
