This is insufficient as we don't know what the probability of Mrs. Lisa being selective is GIVEN Mr. Kip has been selected.
Statement 2 Alone:
This tells us Mrs. Lisa has a 100% chance of being selected. Sufficient.

i love to solve these kind of questions with a table approach to be sure:
the point is that we have "GIVEN that MrKip has been selected", what is the probability that also Lisa is chosen
so we have to ISOLATE the first row (in yellow)
statement 1
this is telling us that BOTH together have a change of 5/8 to be selected, this just means that the proability for both to be selected is
(5/8 * total)/x
clearly insufficient.
statement 2
this statement is telling us that the probability that Kip is selected and Lista is not selected is zero (if Kip --> than Lisa).
meanin that the probability of both being selected is equal to the probability of Kip being selected
x/x = 1 = 100%.
sufficient
