sp of single bar= 1.5 $
sp of 3 pack bar= 4 $

total sold = 750

assume num of single bar sold= p
so num of 3-pack = 750 - p

total revenue = 1.5p + (750-p)4
1.5p +3000-4p
3000 - 2.5p

we need to find p to get the total revenue.

S-1
so all 750 are single bars.
son revenue = 750*1.5

this is 75 more than what they actually did.

750*1.5 = 75 + 3000 - 2.5p
1125 = 75 + 3000 -2.5p
p = 780
this alone is sufficient.

S-2
single bar revenue is 75% of 3-pack revenue.

1.5p = (3/4) (750-p)4
4.5p = 2250
p = 500
this is also sufficient.

Option D

A certain energy bar can be purchased individually for $1.50; a package of three of the same bars sells for $4.00. During halftime at a sports event, a nonprofit organization sold 750 energy bars as a fund-raiser. What is the dollar amount of these energy bar sales?

(1) If all the energy bars had been sold individually, the nonprofit would have earned $75 more than it did.

(2) The sales revenue from individual bars was 25 percent less than the sales revenue from the three-packs.
