To find : (w-o)/o * 100
Given : oil = c/2 lit water = c/2 lit
Total weight = o*c/2 + w*c/2 + b
Oc/2 + wc/2 + b = 102 ------------ 1
Statement 1: oil = 2c/5 water 3c/5
2oc/5 + 3wc/5 + b = 104 -------------2
Subtract equations 1 and 2
-oc/10 + wc/10 = 2
Wc – oc = 20
We don’t get the answer
Statement 2 : oil = 3c/5 water = 2c/5
3oc/5 + 2wc/5 + b = 100 -------------- 3
Subtract equations 1 and 3

The common mistake is that ppl intend to ignore the ratio; They just assume w+o =102; 2o+3w=100; This gives option D, But when you solve the equation this will lead to no conclusive answer
