Two boys, Joe and Seth, can mow a lawn in 2 hours thirty minutes. If 3 other boys, Mike, Tommy and Teddy, helped, how long would it take to mow the same lawn with all of them starting at the same time?
(1) It would take Mike, Tommy and Teddy 1 hour and forty minutes to mow the entire lawn.
(2) It would take each boy 5 hours to mow the law alone.

basically we need rate of Mike, Tommy and Teddy
Statement 1
It would take Mike, Tommy and Teddy 1 hour and forty minutes to mow the entire lawn this statement gives me combined rate of three boys so we can calculate the total time of all 5
Hence sufficient
Statement 2
It would take each boy 5 hours to mow the law alone. This statement give us individual rate of each one .
so we can calculate total time
Hence sufficient
Correct option is D as both statement is sufficient
