Let’s take the number of employees in the state fare as 100x.
Given that 10% *(100x) = 10x denotes Police.
Hence, 90x can denote the number who are not police officers.
Statement 1:
(1) 5% of the police officers employed in the fare are woman.
5%*(10x) = 0.5x denote the police officers who are woman.
Then male police officers = 10 - 0.5x = 0.95x.
These, are Insufficient to answer the number of employees who are not police officers.
Statement 2:
(2) 45% of the employees at the state fare are woman.
Out of 100x , 45% of employees denotes 45x.
Male employees denotes 55x.
These, are Insufficient to answer the number of employees who are not police officers.
Combining both statements, doesn’t provide the information for the number of employees who are not police officers.
