Fifty men and fifty women responded to a survey about the current value of a MBA degree. How many women responded that the current value is less that it has been?
(1) The number of women who responded that the value of the MBA degree is the same or greater is twenty-six.
(2) The total number of people who responded that the value is the same or greater is sixty.
Let the number of men = M = 50
Let the number of Women = W = 50
50 M and 50 W attended the survey.
We need to find : number of Women who responded the current value of MBA as less.

(1) The number of women who responded that the value of the MBA degree is the same or greater is twenty-six.
The number of women who considered MBA degree is SAME or GREATER is 26.
Therefore, the number of women who consider the MBA degree LESS is (50-26) = 24.

(2) The total number of people who responded that the value is the same or greater is sixty.
This statement mentions the total count out of 100, which considers the respondents who considered MBA degree the same or greater as 60.
Even though, we know the number of respondents who consider the value of MBA degree less is (100-60)= 40.
