first night B
after that C

we need to find B
Option 1:
b+5c=390

option 2:
B+2c=3*(7/9)*B

2c=4/3B
B=3/2C
now individually both ae not sufficient

but together we get the answer as we have eq with B & C and also link between them b+5c=390/B=3/2C

Option C

An exclusive tourist resort charges tourists b dollars for the first night stay and charges a reduced rate of c dollars for every subsequent night of stay. How much does the tourist resort charge tourist for the first night stay?

(1) Adam was charged 390 dollars for his 6 nights stay
(2) The average (arithmetic mean) daily room rent for 3 nights' stay is 7/9th times the rate for the first night stay.
