I heard/read/drempt(?) that the actual content of your AWA repsonses can be made up.
Ie. if you point out that something is logically/not logically sound in the statement you can back it up with an example, but one that isn't necessarily true. For example,
"Natural resources are finite in quantity and if its use is not managed properly by the goverment then corporations will deplete them below sustainable levels. Take, for example, the redwood tree. The forestry industry, spurred on by high prices for redwood lumber, has logged entire forests in Oregon and now has to look to other states to continue to harvest fresh trees."
Obviously, to be taken seriously, you can't go way off the deep end and use obscure or ridiculous examples but on the whole, if it jives with the flow of your essay then you can make up certain things - just to prove your point.
Any insight into this? Am I anywhere near the ballpark?

I think that is a good point, I would think that's ok if you do not take it too far, they are assessing your persuasiveness and not your knowledge on factual information.
