While going through the list of Analysis of an Issue questions provided by GMAC, I noticed that some of the questions allow you to take a "good boy" position, that is a position that projects *you* as an environmentally and socially responsible individual.
Any thoughts on whether taking such a position helps (if it's available in the particular question one faces on the GMAT, and provided one has enough meat to write), compared to taking the alternative position?

The school will not see your essay, only your score.
It doesn't matter what position you take. It must be well written and have minimal errors (some typos are OK).
