HI guys, I really need your advice right now
Im currently a senior college student. Finance major
Im gonna take GMAT this December, goal is 690-700
I will graduate in May 2011, and I plan to apply for MSF Programs right after that, meaning Im gonna start the application this Winter 2010 (November-Jan)
My GPA will be around 3.8. Internship in Finance (Banking): less than 1 year.
I can only can afford 20 000 a year. So a scholarship is a must :(
Can you give me suggestions of good schools (job placement) for MSF?
I think I will apply for 6-8 uni/colleges in U.S.!! (not UK)

Princeton & MIT

I'm not sure you're serious or not. But MIT, Princeton or Boston College seem to be top of my head :(

Why aren't I serious? Those are great schools for the Mfin and they place very well. I am serious, look at those two schools.

Oh, thanks much. However, I've got less than 1 year of experience, plus my GMAT will be 720-750. SO i dont think I will be able to get the scholarship from these schools. :(

Princeton & MIT are your top choices. I would look at WUSTL also since they might give you some scholarship. BC is great for Boston. Villanova would probably give you a fellowship with those stats. Claremont McKenna is a great school also.

PM me for some contacts.

Hey guys,

I am looking fwd to apply for MSF this year (for fall 2011). But my GMAT score is quite low ie. 620. :( I have 2 yrs work ex. in finance sector. Do you think I have a shot at univs like Vandy, Villanova, BC and WashU?
I wud also like to know the job prospects after MSF for international students for these univs.

Thanks in advance.

probably MIT would be a little too heavy considering your budget.
