I graduated this past May from NYU with a BA in Politics and minor in Business Studies. After taking business courses at Stern in accounting, economics, and statistics areas I became interested in pursuing a career in Accounting. I still want to live in the city and given that I just graduated I don't have any full-time work experience. After researching programs available for me to continue my academic work in Accounting, I noticed Baruch Zicklin and Pace Lubin offered MS Accounting Programs. I've heard from various places that Lubin's MS Accounting Admissions is more lenient towards recent graduates who don't have significant full-time work experience.
I just wanted to know what my chances were of getting into Pace Lubin MS Accounting Program. I am applying for admission this upcoming Spring term. I have a 3.4 GPA and am taking the GMAT in a few weeks. What kind of GMAT score does Lubin want for admissions to this program? What does Pace Lubin look for when deciding which students to accept into the program? Thanks for any and all advice.
