hi, i'm italian and currently i'm taking a bachelor in economics with a major in mathematical methods for economic applications at the catholic university in milan. during my degree i had 2 international experiences, i took part in the Stanford Summer International Honors Program and at the summer school at lse, but i've never had any internship, so i don't have any work experience. next year i'm going to apply for a master of science in finance. my dream is to get a job in uk. the problem is that almost all uk postgraduate programs are 1 year long and they don't offer the possibility to have an internship during it. on the other hand, taking part in a grande ecole program, with a major in finance, i would have to possibility to gain some work experiences during the program, but at the same time i would lose an year because the first year would be general, so i would repeat subjects i have already studied and i'm not sure how much these programs are considered in uk if compared to those of warwick, oxbridge, lse, imperial or cass.i know in italy msc in finance at bocconi in really a great program, but i really would like to experience living abroad. what do you think is the best choice, should i apply to a uk program even without any work experience? would i have some possibilities of gaining a good job?
