Hi Guys,
I am confused about which colleges I shall apply. My profile is as follows:
B. Tech. (Mechanical Enginnering) GPA 7.09/10.
Work Ex:
1. Engineer @ Essar Steel Ltd. (Non Relevant) - 19 months
2. Associate @ Futures First (Probably Relevant) - 52 months
-Prop Trading Firm. I am trading in Crude Oil Markets. So, good exposure to financial markets.
Maths and Programming Knowledge:
1. Love Coding, had subjects: C++ in school and C in college. though out of touch for almost 8-9 yrs. But, it can be re-learnt quickly.
2. Maths - Had 3 Applied Maths subjects during engineering. Again, it has been 8-9 yrs.
Maths Olympiad: 7th in North West Zone, India.
My age right now is 27.5., will be 28.5 when I start the course.
*Most US colleges have a requirement for Calculas based Probability. I have never taken it. Can I study by myself and be eligible for those schools??
I will be taking GMAT in 2 months time. Expected score: 720+.
Can anyone recommend me courses for which I can be competitive.
I am too confused about how to shortlist courses out of following:
CMU, Columbia, UCLA, LBS, Oxford, Warwick, NTU, NUS, and so may others.
Any other colleges you can recommend??
