MSFHQ
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. MSF programs care about your GMAT score and your ability to speak the native language (TOFEL). The IR portion is pretty new also.
I'd have to know the rest of your profile, but assuming your TOFEL is up to snuff and you have a good enough GPA you should get into some or all of the schools you listed.
Differentiate yourself through EC's and volunteer work. Your essays are a good way to stand out also. Spend time working on the soft skills as it looks like you already have the scores you'd need to get into an MSF program.
Thank you for the reply, MSFHQ. While I think I can manage with this score in generalist finance programs, I may be at a disadvantage in quant programs. What do you think? I think my TOEFL is going to be decent.
My profile:
1. Bachelors and Masters in Industrial Engineering: GPA 8.2/10 (Topper: 8.8) It converts to 3.2+ I think.
2. CFA Level I cleared.
3. Two non relevant internships (a big steel producing company and an IT consulting firm) Both are strong brands, at least in India.
4.Editor of Campus newspaper, department symposium organizing experience, some volunteer experience many years ago(raising money for orphans), Quizzing, Debating and Model UN experience. I also have a blog on Finance (which is not very popular yet)
