So a little bit of background abt me, i'm european with a double Bcom in Finance (Europe/Canada), i dont have any experience in finance and i just graduated in december 2013. I passed the gmat in January 2014 but failed (450). Since then, i found a job and i am preparing my 2nd gmat. My gpa is a B.
Today, i opened my gmail account, and BIM email for "Meeting request - ESADE Business School in Barcelona". I just want to say that i didnt do any application for this school.
Greetings from ESADE Business School, recently ranked among Europe’s top b-schools by The Financial Times. I’m Keegan Pierce, associate director of international admissions for ESADE’s Full Time MBA and Master of Science (MSc) programmes in Barcelona.
Having received your profile information from the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) following your GMAT exam, I write to inquire if you would be available to meet during one of our upcoming Interview Days in your region:
If so, please reply to this email, attaching an updated copy of your CV and specifying which city, date and programme you are interested in. Myself and/or one of my ESADE Admissions colleagues will follow up with you, 1-2 weeks prior to the event, to schedule a meeting.
Please note that priority --including a chance to conduct your Official Interview in person-- will be given to candidates who have successfully completed their Online Application for the September 2014 intake of ESADE’s Full Time MBA and MSc programmes.
Based in Barcelona, The ESADE MBA has been ranked #1 in the world in international diversity (The Economist, 2012), #2 worldwide for teamwork-based learning (Businessweek, 2013), and #3 for career progression (The Financial Times, 2013).
Meanwhile, ESADE’s MSc Programmes (Marketing, Finance, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and International Management) are among the world’s most prestigious, offering a practical orientation and the possibility to combine your studies with the select CEMS Master in Management.
How is it possible that they received my profile info ? the average GMAT for this school is close to 660 and mine is 450. Why did they send me this email?
