Hey guys,
I am applying for MiM programs in various institutes this year. Very much inclined towards getting into Duke University, LBE and LBS.
I do not have any work experience (apart from 2 summer internships at two different MNCs). I was in one of the top 20 engineering colleges in India, but had a low GPA of 6/10 (which is equivalent to a C+) because I was taking part in a lot of extra-curricular activities. Does a low GPA have any major effect when it comes to top MiM programs, even if I score 700+ score in GMAT?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi amarmeena1992,
Well realistically both UK and US Schools place a strong emphasis on academics so a 6.5 GPA is going to be a concern for both countries.
I would suggest you to convert your GPA into Percentile - In case the marking system of your university is very tough, it would help to know where you stand with respect to the rest of the class.
Well, GPA can be compensated by other profile strengths but this works for EU Schools mostly as they are more flexible with Academics than UK Schools.
There are a lot of top schools you can target like ESSEC, IE, ESADE, ESCP if you can successfully highlight other profile strengths.

Feel free to drop me a whatsapp on +91-8810658356, if you need more information/help on this.
Would be faster to communicate on Whatsapp :)
