Hello all! It's my first time posting here and I need some serious help lol. I am currently going in to my senior undergraduate year at UCI. I am beginning to apply for graduate schools and I have three options:
MS in Accounting
MS in Finance
MBA
I am considering these three options because: My parents want me to go into accounting and to fulfill the California CPA Requirements, I need/want to pursue a MS in Accounting. However, I am thinking of going into finance so an MS in Finance or an MBA would help me out in these terms. (This isn't the topic I need help on though, this is just a fyi because I know people will ask why I want these three degrees).
However, I REALLY DON'T WANT TO TAKE LOANS. So are there any programs (any of the three) that give out full-scholarships to applicants. An example would be NYU Stern MBA offering a full-ride to two special undergraduates. It doesn't have to be a special full-ride for undergraduates like NYU, but any full-ride scholarships to any of these three programs would be great help because I'm applying to all three and then figuring out which one to attend later.
I am currently offered a half-ride to UCI's Masters in Accounting, but I really can't afford the tuition so I am looking into other options (it doesn't matter if its out of state or anything)
Just for your reference, my GPA is 4.0 and my GMAT is 740, however, I don't have any work experience except that I worked in a tutoring company as a tutor and manager for 4 years and participated in the VITA Tax Program with the IRS for 5 months.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
