Hello,
Can you please evaluate my chances of getting into one of my desired Business Schools below, and maybe also advise on which one would be the most suitable?
You can find my full profile below:
General:
- French
- 22 years old
- Living in Moscow for two years
- Fluent in French, English, and Russian - Basics of German, Spanish, and Japanese
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in General Business from recognised French business school (not top tier though)
- Bachelor Degree in International Marketing from a top-5 Muscovite university (as part of my French degree)
- GPA equivalent to a UK 2:1
Scores:
- GMAT 700 (Q48/V38, IR8, AWA TBC)
- TOEFL on the way, but expecting around 110
- TORFL to be given in January/February but not sure it changes anything

- Handball - Local champion several years ago
Work experience:
- Non-relevant internships during my studies

References:
- Two from my clients (I cannot ask my boss as he doesn't want to see me leave - I actively contribute in saving the business, with results accounting for over 25% of a 10-people team)
Short-term goal:
- Enrolment in a strong UK, Swiss, or French Business School to get a challenging and recognised financial education
- Work in a major international bank in the investment banking department (speciality to be confirmed later on)
Long-term goal:
- After around 6-7 in IB, enrolment in a European MBA and focus on finding partners to fund a NGO whose goal would be to alleviate poverty and enhance education while pursuing my IB work at a different level.
Key schools:
United Kingdom - LBS (MIM + Elective in IB), Oxford, LSE, Cranfield, Warwick, Imperial College, Cass
France - HEC, EDHEC, ESSEC, ESCP
Switzerland - Saint-Gallen
I'm thinking about retaking the GMAT in January as I'm not a 100% satisfied with today's score (got 710 twice, 730, and 740 on my official mock exams), but it's not sure yet. It depends on whether 700 could actually be enough.
Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to reading you.
J
