Hi all,
I am a last year student of Bachelor's Degree of Electrical & Computer science engineering, majoring in computer science. My home university is Polytechnique University of Madrid, which is a key partner institution of Hec Paris. My home university pre-elected me for the Grande Ecole program at Hec Paris, and as far as I know, I do not have to present any GMAT/GRE, Toefl and application fee. I just have an interview in April.
Regarding to my profile, I have a low gpa (2,9). Since my first year at college I have been owner and CEO of a company, which I sold last year. I have done internships in Everis, an IT Consulting firm and Monitor Deloitte, where I am currently working in the strategy consulting practice (full-time offer extended). I am member of several associations such as "Mas por ellos" a spanish NGO, Juan de Mariana Institute, an economic think-tank and I am developing a start-up with a colleague.
Also, I like sports and I compete in triathlon, facing several competitions this year such as Madrid triathlon.
I have no international experience, but a Toelf IBT:106.
I am worried of my chances of joining the program because of my low gpa and I would like to know how important is the interview, the nomination by my home university and my gpa.
My profile could be resumed as:
Pros
*Owner of a company with 0.5M Revenues
*Internship in a top-tier management consulting firm
*Nomination by Key parter institution of Hec Paris
Cons
*Very low gpa
*No international experience
*No Gmat (not required)
Finally, anyone could tell me how to prepare the interview and what kind of questions I need to answer?
Thanks!!
