Hi,
I am a 24 year old Canadian.
Here is my profile:
GMAT: 730, Q48, V42
Undegrad major: Finance
Undergrad minor: Economics
University: Wilfrid Laurier
GPA: 3.0, Major GPA: 3.5 (I do have low math grades tho)
Work experience: 4 month intern at Goldman Sachs Toronto, 4 month at Quebec's first search fund (MLT Capital), 4 month at Manulife Financial, 4 Month at Government of Ontario
Passed CFA level 1 and 2. I also have a publication in an accounting journal.
I am just starting to apply now, and I noticed a lot of US schools have already closed their applications for international students. I also considered schools in the U.K but their all require a 2:1 (upper second class honors) which translates to 3.5 GPA minimum, I do not think I meet that requirement and am a little scared to apply.
Should I just apply to whatever school that has rolling application? Please suggest some. Or should I wait and apply for 2016 start.
I am also considering University of Melbourne (a good friend of my goes there for a undergrad and loves it), is their master of finance program any good?
Tuition is not really an issue but I don't mind saving where I can.
Thanks a lot!
