I have been admitted to Rochester for MSF. Awaiting decisions from Northeastern, Case western, UCincinnati, Drexel and DePaul.
I shied away from applying to Tulane as they have clearly mentioned in their FAQ section that placements for international applicants is not good enough :/
I like Rochester for its reputation and being highly ranked for msf but they have an exorbitant tuition of about $78000 let aside accommodation and living expenses. Plus the placement stats are an avg salary of $45,000 for international applicants. Also not a big fan of Rochester as a city to live in but it's proximity to NYC is the only hope of entering Wall Street.
I like the locations of the rest of the above mentioned univs and they are comparatively quite cheaper..
I have a years experience in finance industry and also pursuing cfa alongside...

Rochester, NY is no where near NYC. $78K for a program in the middle of nowhere is ridiculous. International students are going to struggle no matter where they go for school. I'd pick a program in a major metro area, low cost and recognized back in your home country in case you have to return home to work.

Thank you for your reply. I do not wish to return back to my home country and yes I will be struggling to start working into equity research post msf. $78k was the tuition on the uni website. However they have sent me te cost sheet and it comes to $72k...after scholarship it is going to be $52k. I still have a chance to apply to zicklin Baruch but I will have to let go of UR. I'm not sure with a gre of 305 I could get into Baruch. I have PM you my profile. Please advise on which uni to be considered.
