Hi guys, can anyone help me with choosing in between MBA and MS in Accountancy.
I am in UK now, originally from uzbekistan, came to the uk to study. Got an offoer of a place from University of Southampton for MS in Accounting and Finance, but deffered it until next year to have time to apply for Baruch College MBA or MS in accountancy. So that next year I will have two choices. US or UK.
The problem is that, I do not know wheather to do MBA in Accounting or MS in Accountancy, which is better and gives me a cutting edge in the job market either in the US or UK?
I have worked as an IT instructor for a training company, worked at an international bank as a treasury specialist and now working in retail as a supervisor. The next step is to work with one of the big four or as an accountant in a public company
What would you do if you in this situation?

Hey,
I am an MBA student from Russia studying in the U.S. and my goal is also to get an accoutnant's position with Big Four in Moscow, Russia. My friend is a senior manager there and he told me it does not really matter whether you get MS in Acc. or MBA if you pass CPA exam, you are all set.
