Had a similar profile. better finance related internships(no1 AMC in m country), better scores & better Gpa. still i think being an international student killed my odds. Got a reject tday morning

There can be several reasons for this. It could be that you have extraordinarily good stats and they felt you would be a better fit at a Berkeley, Cornell, Princeton or MIT type program. On the other hand it is also possible that you were lopsided and your Verbal scores/ skills may not fit with the program at Vandy.

Would you like to share your stats?

Hey there, your GMAT and GPA are pretty strong.
As far as work experience is concerned, schools ( even the ones with pre-experience MFin programs) like to see some kind of solid work experience as well as quantifiable achievements.
In this context, your work experience looks fair, provided that it was for a decent duration ( a minimum of 3-6 months) and you have some significant impact to highlight.

Which country are you targeting?

Realistically, I would say that Vanderbilt is possible with a strong application, but it is more in the range of a competitive school. Babson can be more of a safe school.

Are you targeting just US for your Masters?/

You can check out WP Carry, Mendoza and if you are open to Canada as well, then Schulich can be a good option.
