Hi Everyone and Experts, 
I plan to take GMAT in the next 2 - 3 months and I would like to hear what my chances are for getting into a top school for a MSc Finance and or MBA Program.
Currently, i have not decided yet whether i will choose Msc Finance or MBA for my post graduate study.
I am from Indonesia, 34 years old, and i want to pursue higher Education Overseas.
Education:
In September 2004, I passed university degree from reputable top university in my country with GPA 3.6
Work experience:
- I had been worked as an Auditor/Public Accountant for 3 years at one of big four public accounting firms.
- From 2008 until present, I am working in Oil and Gas/Energy Company in various positions in Finance & Accounting Directorate, but not reached the managerial position yet right now therefore i think now will be the best time for me to pursue higher education in order to prepare myself also for the higher future position in the company.
I want to learn more about my chosen field related to Energy and Financial & Business aspect related to Energy Sector to make even greater impact on my working.
I need your suggestion which program will suit my purpose ( Msc Finance or MBA Program or any other program)? Or any suggestion of the university that offer such program?

If you want to pursue higher position within your company, MBA seems to better suit the purpose here
Msc in Finance won't help much since you've been working in Accounting/Finance for a long time
For energy MBA, Mccombs program is very solid with access to all energy companies in Texas

MBA, no question. If you want a US based, energy program, you really have only a few choices. UT Austin, Tulane, Rice, those would be the better ones. U Houston would have every exposure as well. Programs in Oklahoma would have more specialized focus and be less regarded.
