Hi, I am applying for Financial Engineering, quantitative finance and MSF programs. I am looking for some advice as well as profile evaluation for these schools. I am mainly looking for 1-year programs.
My profile:
I am studying in Turkey at one of the best(arguably the best) university in Turkey. My major is Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
My CGPA: 3.21/4
GRE: Verbal:147 Quant:170 AWA:3.0
I have 2 internship experiences:
1. Electrical engineering related internship in an international company
2. Academic research internship in China (mainly used MATLAB)
I am applying for the schools listed below:
1.University of Edinburgh
2.Mcgill
3.USC
4.Warwick Business School
5.Ohio State
6.Imperial College London
7.City university london(cass)
8.Northeastern
9.UCI

So for any specialized masters program, one of the most important factors that an Adcom considers is how much of relevant experience you have in the field.
Here in your case, since come from a engineering background and have done your internships in the tech. Sector as well, I would strongly suggest you to take up at least one quality internship in the field before applying.
This being said, lack of relevant will not be a dealbreaker if you have a stellar profile and you are able to justify the shift from technology to finance via a strong essays.
Coming back to your profile, your GPA, UG Rank and GRE look pretty good and work out in your favor.
McGill, NorthEastern, McGill are more in the dream schools range, while UCL,Ohio are more in the competitive range.
However, I would need a lot more details about your profile to correctly estimate your chances.
