University - Jadavpur University (Rank 5 in India)
Published a paper in an international journal during my college years

Project Details -

Total work experience - 5.5 years
Relevant work experience - 3 years

Current position - Senior Research Analyst in CRISIL (S&P Global subsidiary)
Function - Advanced Analytics (Machine Learning & AI)

Relevant Projects Snapshot -

• Worked on creating a news prioritization product for Buy Side Asset Managers in R and Python
 o Components include text classification, assigning impact scores on the basis of adstock concept
 o Used dictionary based named entitiy recognition for finding tags for articles
 o Leveraged IBM Watson's Natural Language Understanding and Natural Language Classifier module for understanding key attributes of the article
 o Implemented Vowpal Wabbit based back testing system on the impact score and different financial metrics
• Created a new scoring methodology for Portfolio Optimization for Buy Side Managers using news data
• Scraped interest rates for different banks and measured its association with the bank stock price
• Created an automated announcement classifier mechanism for incoming news alerts from Stock Exchange 
 o Components include automated information extraction framework based on Spacy and implementing an automated POS tagger for feature generation
 o Created a deep learning-based hybrid framework for automatic classification of announcements
• Created a stock price prediction framework utilizing RNN based LSTM framework through Keras and Tensorflow

Given my profile snapshots, it will be really helpful if you can let me know of the schools that should be ideal for me.

You need to provide a list of schools and an area where you want to study for anyone to really be helpful.

GRE looks to convert to a 660 GMAT - not good. First class honors is a positive, electrical engineering is good as well. The work experience looks nice also.

IMO, maybe one of the lower ranked UK or European schools would be competitive. I'd suggest working on boosting your GRE though.

Hi Anthony, Thanks for your candid feedback. Yes I am planning to give GRE in the coming month. Just one question I had, do these schools look into the overall scores like a normal b school or they look for 170 quant with okayish verbal score (155-160). As for the schools, I was planning on for these following schools - 1. MIT 2. Princeton 3. Baruch 4. Haas 5. HEC 6. LBS 7. Said 8. Judge 9. LSE But after your feedback, am not really sure about my chances in all these schools.

Your 10th and 12th score don't matter as such, so don’t worry about them.
You are having average GRE score, that should be worked upon and will be one of the biggest issues.
Jadavpur is a well ranked university that may help to showcase your profile.

Showcasing work experience can help. You have a good work brand and have some strong financial projects, so these help.
Your goal should be the showcase these projects and the kind of the value you have created via them. You may consider analytics course, that may be a good call for you.

Most of the schools you have mentioned are dream schools so getting into them would be difficult, I would suggest targeting some Competitive ones as well.
With a good profile and application LBS, LSE may work out.
