So I just got admitted to the MS in Finance at Baruch Zicklin. And awaiting response from Stevens. Does anyone have any idea how do the finance programs at these schools compare? How are the job opportunities post graduation from both the schools. Also, I will need Visa sponsorship after graduation, is it easy to get visa sponsorship after finance program. As I am also looking to change programs and shift to MS in Information Systems. Which course will be better? Would love to have a guidance for the same. Thank you.
Hi ashuritolia,
Very interesting question.
Did some research for you.
Is it Financial Engineering, M.Sc. - at Stevens or Financial Analytics, M.Sc. - at Stevens ? OK I found also MS in Finance at Stevens business school, I guess you were referring to that program.
Stevens Institute of Technology definitively has much stronger potential in MS in Information Systems if you want to switch later.
Regarding jobs you will be fine with both.
Now, cost of living will be significantly higher at NY versus New Jersey, I dont know did you account that in your analysis as deciding factor.
You will not have any problems with visa sponsorship especially if you switch to Information Systems.
There are also MS programs from Computer Science school at Stevens.
Congrats on being accepted at Baruch Zicklin and good luck with Stevens
