I ended up narrowing down my applications due to cost factors and have only applied to Vandy. They require an on-campus interview. Mine is tomorrow

Good luck, Emily and Lindsay are super nice. Maybe I'll see you on campus next fall!

GMAT: N/A (waivered due to GPA)
GPA: 3.47
Undergrad (major/type of school): Accounting, School of Business at George Mason
Work experience: None

Schools applied (applying to): College of William & Mary
Schools accepted: W&M w/ $
Schools denied: N/A
Most likely to attend: W&M

If you're surprised I made it, imagine how surprised I was. I don't want to put myself down too much but I feel like I set a new floor with my acceptance. It's not like my GPA is bad but just about every other W&M applicant I've seen on this forum had considerably higher GPA than me, plus work experience as well.

For timeline, I submitted my application Oct 10, was contacted by Oct 12 to schedule my interview, and had my Skype interview on Oct 15. I received my letter (online, not a physical mail) on Nov 1.

I just applied to Vandy two days ago and heard back today that I made it to the interview round. Can anyone who has went through the interview tell me what it was like and what I should expect?
Thank you

Its two separate one on one's that are both about 20-30 minutes. The questions are all pretty basic behavioral and why accounting/why Vandy. Both interviewers are super nice and conversational.

Good luck, maybe we will be on campus together in the fall.

It's one week after the event on the next Friday, which they're good about, knowing a few people who did it. Email for a rejection, they will call if you're in.

The interviews are pretty chill in my experience but I have a friend who did not like them. I had decent rapport already with the interviewers having been on campus and talking with them about the early application process (Vandy lets their own undergrads apply as juniors). The meals you have are pretty normal networking stuff - just strike up a few good conversations and be presentable. Other than the interviews and meals, you just listen to presentations on the program.

GMAT: 690 (Q47 V38 IR 6 AWA 5.0)

Work Experience: US Army
Schools applied (applying to): Cornell University

I will be attending Cornell University for Spring 2019. I wish I could apply for more school, such as NYU, Columbia, and Vandy. However, none of the schools I listed accepts spring entry. I did not look for other OOS schools as I could not see any advantages (Except for Vanderbilt). Vanderbilt was my first choice as it guarantees internship at Big4. Hope it helps.

Hoping to get my GMAT to 700+ so I can be competitive for some of my applications, otherwise I'll go to Ole Miss

700+ would be great but I think you'll be competitive at your schools even with upper 600's. Good luck!
