Hi,

I have a GRE score of 320. Can anyone tell me what is the GRE cut off for IE Masters in Finance programme?

Hey Roopam,

320 should be fine for MFin at IE. You can even give ieGATexam as an alternative if you have a lower score.

Apart from the exam your admit chances depend a lot on your profile, what kind of financial experience you have, what’s your undergrad cgpa, any particular projects or certifications done as well as what exactly are your goals post masters.

All this and more should be covered in your application essay.

GRE score was not mention on IE Masters in Finance program.

They only mention GMAT score.


However, I would know how to convert GMAT to GRE and vice versa.

It would be beneficial for you to provide verbal and quant score on your GRE if you want exact GMAT corresponding score.

Still I can work with some ballpark figures.


80% of IE Masters in Finance students have GMAT score that range from 650 to 770.

That would mean that cut off could be taken as score of 650 as guidance, real cut off would be actually lower, but let say this would be competitive cut off.


Depending on your individual verbal and quant score, you would actually be in that range lets say 640-650-660.

Again this is competitive cut off, not real cut off, meaning that would be score of 80% of accepted students, in previous years.
