Here’s my profile, can you please go through it in light of Masters in finance and Masters in Financial engineering .
What are the sort of colleges I can apply to , with my current situation . Also what can I do to make it stronger so that I can apply to better programs .
10th - 8.8/10 grade point converts to 83.6 %
12th - 87.5
BE Computer Science - 8.14%
GRE - 320
Cfa L1
Extra curricular
Assistant football coach for under -14 football team at a delhi based football club . Worked on every weekend . - 6 months
Frequent volunteering and event coordinating in cultural events like ( College festivals and department festivals )
TEDX volunteer
Work experience -
1)12 months at Accenture technology ( associate software engineer )
worked as a tester for financial services field .
Manual and automation testing for financial services application of one the largest global banks .
Got my inclination towards finance from here
2)Worked as business developer for a 2 year old admission consultant comapany rostrum -3 months
3)Family business , chemical trading and distribution company . 4 months
4) I am applying in 2019 , for the 2020 intake .
By then hopefully I’ll land up 1 -2 internships in finance which are actually relevant . Also positive I’ll be able to break in the finance industry . I’ve networked enough .
Relevant course:
Excel for finance , financial modelling intro , 1 NSE stock exchange course
I understand my profile is not that strong , can you please ADVICE/help/suggest
What else I can do to make my profile competitive enough.
One of my dream colleges is SMU MAF program .
Do relevant online courses add any value ,
If yes then which one . ? Or what sort of projects I can involve myself in to impress the ad comm.
Do I need to retake GRE , or attempt gmat instead . ?(I have heard that a GRE over a gmat is looked down upon , Is it true . Or both have equal weightage )
Volunteering work in social areas is important ?If so then what kind of work should I get involved into .

GPA looks good. GRE converts to roughly a 640, not so good. Accenture is good for the resume.
IMO, I would retake the GRE. Since you are international and English isn't your first language, I would encourage you to take the GMAT in stead. Little more forgiving on the English than the GRE.
You can get into lower tiered MSF programs in the states with the stats you have now. SMU seems slightly out of reach. Bump the GRE/GMAT to high 600's and you will stand a much better chance.
