Hi all - not sure I'm posting this in the right place but I'm looking to see if I should retake the GMAT. I scored a 560 recently, which was below any of the official guide practice exams I took. Seems like it was due to nerves but I don't know. I'm looking to apply to Baruch's MSA program for fall admissions since I'm a NYC resident. I want to apply by the priority deadline (4/1) but with busy season, I'm not sure if I can ask for time off to take a test (I received some snide comments for taking a Saturday off from my team...).
I'm still a senior in undergrad, with a graduation date in August. My gpa will be 3.6 by then, if not at least 3.5. In terms of accounting experience, I've done 3 internships, 4 counting my current one (1st: part time for 3 months, 2nd: full time for 8 months, 3rd: full time for 5 months, current: full time for 6 months); so about 1.5 years of full time experience? They're all tax positions (minus the first one) at mid size accounting firms except for my current one (private equity tax at a well known pe firm). For recommendations, I asked two higher ups from my last internship to write them, but I don't now if one of them is coming through. Is there a chance I can get into Baruch's MSA full-time program with my current standing?
