About me: I studied in Edinburgh university for four years and went back home to Botswana and worked with a big 4 in audit for nearly 2 years. 6 months free lancing (book keeping, capital structure consultancy and loan contract review for start ups and acted as an agent providing IT equipment to the government through tenders. Going to write cfa 2 in June.
I chose to apply to York and queens for finance. Got admitted to queens and awaiting an interview with York. So far this is what I’ve come up with. Queens offers a program where classes happen in the evening on one week day and then take up a sat(every alternative weeK). York is full time and full of international students. None of which shouldn’t matter to me. (Correct me if I’m wrong)
I feel that the courses would cover more or less the same ground in terms of skill introduced. York does however claim that they cover much more than the cfa syllabus. Is this something that wins brownie points with employers.
The part time program might help in terms of networking(which has been emphasized a lot), getting a part time job to finance cost of living( I’m hoping to work as a sales rep during my time as a student)
Can I assume that both have industry experts coming to visit the uni and that the pgwp would be the same? Or does one have better opportunities than the other?
Is there another perspective I should consider for my goals?
Goals:
I hope to get into business development or something more interesting than audit, if not Ibd merges and acquisitions(I’m willing to play the long game to get here). Ultimately I Would like to work in Toronto’s finance sector and work my way to being a citizen.

The Application and Interview Round is common for all 5 schools (HEC Paris, ESCP Europe, EMLYON Business School, Audencia Business School, and Skema Business School.)
Basically, you'll be scored on many different parameters and these scores will be sent to each of these schools to make their own decision.
Usually SAI Interviews have a mix of profile bases, competency, strategic and school specific questions.
Here is list of sample questions:
Please introduce yourself
Why do you want to pursue this degree?
Why not an MBA?
Which of the 5 colleges do you want to target & why?
Will you be able to cope up with the pressure of a hectic school schedule?
How is your French?
How do you plan to manage in France with such a limited level of French?
Tell us about a time when you handled a difficult situation between co-workers
